Posted April 16th, 2009
So you got that new 10 megapixel, 7x optical zoom, touch panel photo camera ready to go. The kids and all the family pets have been eagerly awaiting their fun day at the park. The picnic basket is packed with sandwiches and snacks. The Frisbee, football and your badminton set are already in the car. It’s going to be a perfect day. Too bad you can’t share it with the rest of your family that lives 300 miles away. Or can you? Join over 37% of online adults who have uploaded photos to a Web site to share with others online.* Learn to Share… The process is easy and you don’t have to be a computer expert to do it. While step by step process varies from site to site, the gist is: transfer your photos from your digital camera to your computer and then upload them on the site (usually in 3 clicks or less). Some of the most used sites out there include Flickr, WebShots and Photobucket. You can also share your photos on social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace. Yup, You Can Comment The most fun part of online photo sharing? Commenting on yours and other people’s photos. Just be nice, other people can read those comments too! A few final things to remember when sharing photos online – use reputable sites, post compromising photos at your discretion, and most importantly – just have fun! Angela K.
