Take Rememberable Photos: Another Photography Tip

Posted February 5th, 2011

I remember being a child at my grandmothers house admiring all of her little glass figurines. My grandmother decided to take them down one day and I was sad to see them go. I said, “Wait Grandma, I’ll take a picture so that I wont forget about them” Now I have an everlasting memory of all her figurines.

I had a really hard time letting Lily’s baby clothes go. They remind me of how little she once was but they were taking up too much room in her drawers. So I made a clothes line outside by tying a rope between two tress in my backyard. I hung some of her old cloths and blankets on it. I placed Lily in the grass right in front of the clothes line and took the picture. So now I have a photo of her playing in the yard and all of her clothes that I wanted to remember in the background.

Justin and I had found a little stuffed frog in a parking lot one day. He was all alone, we felt bad for the poor little guy so we let him live in our car for a while. One day I thought it would be better (and less weird) to give him to a child who would want him. I convinced Justin to donate the stuffed frog. He was a little sad at first, Justin not the frog but he knew it was for the best. I asked Justin if I could take a picture of him and Jimmy, that’s the name we had given him. So I took a picture of them to remember all of the good times we shared together. If your out there reading this Jimmy, We love you!

So if your in need of some more space, consider preserving your memories with a picture. They take up very little space. Happy Shooting!
